London documentary wedding elopement photographer

“Book Gemma for your wedding! We absolutely adored going through our photographs and reliving the day - Gemma perfectly captured the joy, fun and special moments of the day. Especially those more candid moments like walking down the road with our guests having cars beep in celebration! No request was too much for Gemma and we thoroughly enjoyed having her at our wedding. She was discrete, made us feel comfortable being photographed and made sure she got the shots we all wanted - we can't thank her enough for capturing it all for us!”

Frequently
Asked
Questions

  • Sometimes I shoot alone, and sometimes I bring a team! It depends which package you book. You'll find my Pricing Guide available to download which details what's included in each package. I have a few amazing assistant photographers that I love to work with.

A second photographer can be added to any package, but not every wedding needs one. This is something we can discuss during our onboarding call.

  • Yes! I love to travel, nowhere is too far. I currently do not charge for travel within the UK. For Europe and worldwide destination weddings I charge a flat fee. Download my Pricing Guide to see the current rates.

  • I think printing your photographs is so important. There’s nothing like being able to pass around a beautifully curated wedding album. I work with some amazing printers and bookmakers to provide art quality prints and albums.

  • I offer both digital and film photography. For film photography I shoot a mixture of 35mm and 120mm colour and black & white film stocks. There’s a certain romantic, nostalgic feel to film that holds a place in my heart. I usually say to my couples, that you just know if you want your photographs on film.

From my perspective I find shooting analogue film wedding photographs allows me to be much more in the moment and concentrate on capturing the emotion and feeling of a day, without any temptation to reshoot or rearrange a scene.

There's lots on my blog and my social media about why I think 35mm film wedding photography is amazing, so go have a look!

  • My main aim is to make you feel as comfortable as possible so you can concentrate on enjoying the best day of your lives whilst knowing I’m getting all the great photos you’ll treasure forever. My documentary approach means I won’t pose you and I won’t hijack important moments to direct you or your guests.
